This is the most frequent question when it comes to replacement parts for the Montblanc. It's no wonder, they intermix numbers and words for their pens, so it's quite difficult to sort out what is what!
There are two common sizes of Mont blanc rollerball pen: The 163 (Classique) and the 162 (LeGrand). The LeGrand is noticeably larger than a standard size pen (about an male index finger in width) , while the 163 is the more common, standard size pen (around a male pinky finger)
This inner cap replacement is for the Montblanc Classique 163 Rollerball. If your pen is approximately 10-11mm thick on the barrel, then you have a Classique 163!
